song

twenty three and a half

degrees unstoppered

in the night garden to which

your lips are scripture

and ecliptic tilt in one

flamboyant kiss    curse

her who with half a head

twenty three and a half

degrees celestial sought

among these one moment

in arrest forgetting the stop

put to the garden

as it bumped us and time

stood entreatied in your face
