They've brought this old boulder
down from the mountains
for a good make-over

it's going to take some time

but there's no shortage
of willing hands

the wrinkled skin is getting
the message from a million
palms and fingers

all materials are supplied
a handful of water
a scoop of pebbles

no instructions are necessary
just sprinkle
over the tired landscape
& rub away the years.
