Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm i am Anishnawbekwe from the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation at Neyaashiinigmiing, Cape Croker Reserve on the Saugeen Peninsula in southwestern Ontario, Canada. i am a writer, creative writing instructor, First Nations communications consultant and arts organizer. my work has been published in journals, magazines, and anthologies in Canada, the USA, Aotearoa, Australia, and Germany. i have performed readings across Canada and in the USA, Aotearoa, and Australia. readings have been broadcast nationally in Canada both on radio and television and on national Maori radio in Aotearoa. i have just completed a manuscript of love poetry and erotica and am currently working on completing a collection of short stories. i am also gathering and editing a collection of erotica by Indigenous writers and artists internationally.
