Wall
|
Wall,
rise
and fall, like tides
like
empires, generations
will
decay, the forgotten laws
of
yesterday and today
deformation
and dessication
young
and old,
we
build bridges, crossing back and forth
over
and under, sticks and stones,
the
friction of empty space
of
wanting nothing in particular
it
is
a
construction of dissatisfaction
a
malfunction in time,
it
is just sticks and stones
and
my name is forgotten in all the confusion
of
yesterday and today,
right
and wrong.
